Three new ABBA books is what we have accomplished this spring! On 10th of April we celebrate the release of our brand new city guide "The ABBA Guide to Stockholm", which takes the reader to a selection of more than 60 places in and around Stockholm, that have played an important role in ABBA's carreer. The book will be released at the ABBA convention in Roosendaal, Netherlands. Sara Russell, the book's author, will be there to sign her work!
30 years after ABBA have been standing together on stage, the band is now celebrated again with a fantastic exhibition at London's Earl Court. Since last week ABBA World invites the visitor to come on a journey through the coloured ABBA universe.
Here there are hundreds of photos which document the rocket career of the band, dance and karaoke machines where the brave can test his/her artistic skills and quiz computers where anybody can test their knowledge about the band. The exhibition's highlight is undoubtely the big scene where you can dance and sing together with ABBA as a hologram. You will never get closer to the band than this!
ABBA World was inaugurated by Frida and Björn, who were talking to the world press all day long. Some of the reports you can watch online at CNN, ABC and Sky News.

Åke Gerhard Larsson, Utansjö, has died at the age of 88. He played a significant role in the Swedish music business during the 50s and 60s. In his life he worked as an orchestra leader, lyricist, music publisher and record label manager. Åke also founded and published the legendary Swedish magazine Show Business.
Åke Gerhard contributed several times to the Swedish song contest Melodifestivalen and worked with most of the Schlager stars from back in the days - amongst others Siw Malmqvist and Thory Bernhards.
He was well known as the man behind Olga Records and one of Sweden's biggest bands during the 60s - the pop group Hep Stars. Yes, he was also the one, who gave Benny Andersson his very first record deal...
Now,one of the most beloved female singers in Swedish music history welcomes everybody to her newly opened exhibition! These days, Lill-Babs has finished all contruction works on her very own museum, which is located in her birthplace Järvsö, in the most beautiful landscapes of Hälsingland.
Premium's publisher Wille Wendt took the chance to pay Lill-Babs a visit on the day of opening, to congratulate and leave a copy of our books Stora Schlagerboken Vol. 1 & 2. Everybody who wants to experience Swedish music history of the 50s and onwards should not miss this wonderful exhibition!
4 stars it is! In the June issue of Record Collector there will be a very nice review about our new book "The EP Book" - something we think the book really deserves, and what we are very happy about. To read the complete review, please visit the Record Collector homepage or here.
