by Peder Andersson

Peder Andersson started his career as a photographer almost by coincidence. In the middle of the 70s, Peder was 16 years old, he visited one of Björn Skifs concerts. He convinced the guards that he was a photographer and managed to get backstage. A welcoming Björn Skifs asked him to take pictures of the tour-team. "That night I knew I was going to be a photographer.

The first picture he did get published (the frontpage of Tio i topp) was Alice Cooper, from a concert at Gröna Lund 1976. And when Kiss needed someone to document their visit in Sweden Peder was chosen. He also did receive a personal letter from Peter Gabriel who thanked him for the pictures taken on one of his visits in Stockholm.

Peder has definitely not stopped photographing live acts. "It is more than ever", says Peder. "My interest for music will never decrease, I have it in my blood."

"SCEN" is an explosion of more than 200 pictures from concerts taken now and back. Aerosmith, Ted Gärdestad, Bruce Springsteen, Ebba Grön, Alice Cooper, Kiss, Frank Zappa, Queen, Cornelis, Rolling Stones, Rihanna among many others.
